Starting her journey as an entrepreneur in 2016, she has developed bespoke training and coaching packages, Trademarked her D’Rose Resilience Tree Training Model, established an award winning Ethics & Equity Consultancy and launched initiatives to promote access to Equality and Wellbeing training for individuals to Champion these values in their workplaces and communities.

DBN MISSION

To create a community of diverse business owners professionals and entrepreneurs providing information, learning, collaboration, mentoring and various opportunities to thrive against existing inequalities present in society.

DBN BACKGROUND

The services, support and engagement opportunities provided by the diverse business network are aimed at empowering entrepreneurs to overcome the disparities and obstacles experienced due to inequalities in society, business development and accessible financial services. We have developed the Diverse Business Network in response to the challenges faced by diverse businesses based on relevant research and reports.

Our FOCUS

The principle focus of the DBN is to bridge the gap in business services for people from historically minoritized groups. The DBN enables and equips members to reach their potential, overcoming barriers and connecting with appropriate support services.

Building on our existing networks and partnerships, we have drawn together small businesses from around the UK we have been able to provide free tickets to national business shows, share information on grant funding and provide a platform for members to network and showcase their business.

Our AIMS

The DBN aims to create a safe and inclusive space for our members to learn, collaborate and excel in their business endeavours. By working together and sharing our expertise to enable all members to develop good practice.

Members will only be able to join by referral, the DBN community is maintained as a safe space. We require all our members are referred by existing members or patrons. This ensures our community is populated by individuals who have shared values and have understand the importance of our community guidelines and compliance.
